Klausmobile Tube Tester Files
Svetlana, 04/1989. Borrowed a friend's sample to test the weird thing - a small triode + 3W pentode (3W plate power, not output :( ). Apparently unused - no stains on bottle sides. Why not make a computer speaker amp with this tube (DC coupled, little or feedback, pentode wired to triode mode? Should make 1/2 Watts at least.

2. Pentode - triode wiring, 1kOhm safety resistor in second grid.
Too bad - my tester is too weak for this tube and can't drive under -10V into control grid.. Something like 120V-28mA comes to mind, loaded into 1.5-2k load - maybe can make 1/2W into load. Driver must swing at least 15V peak-peak (very low mu for pentode).
Legend: White curves: Ig<5uA Yellow: 5<Ig<20uA Red: 20<Ig<300uA. Measurements terminate at Ig>300uA
